The last two days i worked on a paper prototype of the installation. We wanted to know if our idea was doable. One of the things I fond out was that we don’t need a full ring of PVC pipe inside the installation. in the prototype there was a bit of friction when turning the ring. We were aware of this problem in the installation so in our plan we were going to use a ring of PVC pipe underneath the turning ring, to decrease te friction. I was playing with the prototype and found out that you only need a little bit of ‘PVC’ to lessen the friction. 4 pieces was enough for the prototype.

I did build the whole map, but enough to get the idea.
