Today we are working on the hardware. We are testing what kind of light we can use inside the platforms in the installation. We tried a 10mm LED, but we fond that if you cover the top with a mat piece of plastic, you will see the 3 different colors separated. So this did not give us the desired result. Next we tried working with a NeoPixel. This was a LED ‘strip’ with 8 LED’s, all individually controlled. The NeoPixel works a lot better so we want to test some more with the 8 LED’s. The next test wil be to make a prototype of a platform and illuminate it in a clear way.

If we find a nice way to illuminate the platforms with the 8 LED’s we will buy a strip.
