The Project

This was definitely the best project I’ve worked on. I was scared at the beginning of the project, because of the 15 credits. I didn’t knew I could get threw it but it worked out fine.

I like to work full time on one project. it gives you a feeling of freedom. We worked on the project whenever we wanted to. We didn’t thought of any other classes. Being with a small International group for almost ten weeks, was better than I expected. The project was not that stressful, because of how open-minded it was. We could build anything we wanted too and good brainstorm moments helped us to find an installation that fitted our skills.

The course we took with changing the concepts many times was stressful in the beginning but I am now glad we did that otherwise, we didn’t ended up with our amazing installation.

The Team

I am really happy and glad to be a part of this team. It was easy to work with these people because we were almost always on the same line. We never had any fights with each other.

Even though we had a lot of designers in our team, the task were divided fairly. It is so cool to see others be so creative and being smart. It feels like a challenge to be as good as them.

The only thing we need the focus on in the future is the planning with scrum and trying to make faster decisions. But overall it was great!

Me

My learning goals were video, graphic design and animation but that was hard to get done in our installation because we didn’t use any screens. But working on this installation helped me see other skills I liked and want to learn in the future. For example, 3D modeling and printing, work with your hands building things. These tasks were so fun to do, I really like the modeling part and getting them ready for printing in the FabLab. Building the installation was harder but more fun than I expected. Definitely, want to keep these skills alive in the future!

Overall I am really happy about the kind of installation the team made. I am really happy about my development in skills but also working in a team having the 24/7 communications. I definitely want to learn more about the skills i experienced from this project and work more often with others in projects in the future.
